Gail Dutton
Gail was born and raised in Santa Rosa, California. She married Warren Dutton, Jr. at 19 and the two soon began farming prunes in 1963. They moved to Graton in 1964 and added apples, grapes and hay to the mix. As founder of Dutton Ranch, Gail is still involved in all major decisions affecting the running of the operation.

Steve Dutton
Steve was born in Santa Rosa, CA in 1967 and grew up in the nearby town of Graton. After a short stint at UC Davis he began working on the ranch full-time. As co-owner and President of Dutton Ranch, Steve works with Joe to develop the company’s long-term vision. Day-to-day he manages the financial part of the business spending most of his time in the office. Outside he manages the labor force, disease control program, and the grape harvest. Steve also sits on the RRVW Board of Directors (past President), the Sonoma County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, the Sonoma County Harvest Fair Board of Directors, the RRVW Foundation Board of Directors, and the SRJC Viticultural advisory committee.

Joe Dutton
Joe was born in Santa Rosa, CA in 1969 and grew up in the nearby town of Graton. After high school he began working on the ranch full-time. As co-owner and Treasure/Secretary of Dutton Ranch, Joe works with Steve to develop the company’s long-term vision. Day-to-day he manages many of the outdoor aspects of the business including the trucks, equipment, operators, drivers, apple harvest, and the delivery of every ton of fruit to its final destination. Joe also sits on the Sonoma County Wine Grape Commission Board of Directors, the Goldridge Resource Conservation District Board of Directors, and the SRJC Viticultural advisory committee.
